Upon receipt of confirmation, a formal letter of appointment will be sent. Once this is received with a deposit for the design stage, then arrangements will be made for a meeting and full survey of the property. This is our opportunity to get to know you and assess the aims of the project. We suggest that you take some time between the booking and the consultation to look at the latest magazines, books and fabrics. During this time think about how you use the space. What aspects do you want to change? Do you have enough storage? What about lighting? What established items are to remain? How much do you wish to spend? This is important since Niro Design needs to ensure that the design reflect both your style and your budget.
Many clients have only a very basic idea of what they wish from a project, and it is the role of Niro Design to gain information and draw out of the client the detail of their requirements, which will form the project brief. This can be a very personal experience with the designer asking questions on how you live now and changes you wish to make. Be as open as you can as this forms the basis for any new design. Remember we are designing for you and not us, so we need to know how you tick.
Most clients really enjoy this consultation, as it may be the first time they have
